In 64 days I'll be entering the new territory called sabbatical. In 19 years of parish ministry, my longest stint of vacation has been 3 weeks, so I'm not sure what I'll experience as I enter into this break from the role of pastor. I anticipate it will be a time of learning, a time of following the leading of the Holy Spirit, and a time of refreshment and renewal. For four months I'll sojourn deeper into the Promised Land. I'll be sharing insights (sightings) into what I'm experiencing and learning on this blog. Check back regularly, as I invite you to participate with me on this journey.
